Back to School Information

Welcome back! The first day of school (Grades 1-12) is August 20, 2024 (and August 22 for TK/K), and we can’t wait to see you Lions!

Scroll down for other information and links related to registration and the start of the school year. Keep checking back as more details and documents will be added as they become available.

Elementary School
Please make plans to join us for Back to School Night on Thursday, August 15 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. You will have an opportunity to meet your child’s teachers, drop off school supplies, check in prescription medications, sign up to be a parent volunteer, and even learn more about student leadership opportunities and our after school Lions Academy program. Teachers will be giving the same presentation at the two different times listed below - 4:00 and 5:00 p.m. So feel free to attend whichever time works best for your family.

We are looking forward to having you join us on Thursday, August 15 for Back to School Night from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. We will begin the night with team introductions and a brief message from our principal in the MS HUB area. Our teachers then will be stationed at various table areas around the campus for a friendly meet and greet, and you and your student will be able to pick up their schedule (and locker assignment) and walk through the campus.

Note: If you would like to purchase spirit wear, the Linfield Spirit Store will also be open from 3:30-6:30 p.m. on the ES Campus!

High School

HS Parents: Please make plans to join us Thursday, August 15 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. for Back to School Night! Since nearly all student registration activities will be taking place digitally via MyLinfield this year (schedule distribution, locker assignments/combinations, etc.), Back to School Night will be a special evening exclusively for high school parents. Our students can enjoy the night off!

We will meet in the gym at 6:00 p.m. for a brief introductory session with the HS leadership team, and then parents will have an opportunity to follow their student’s upcoming schedule - visiting each individual classroom and hearing from this year’s teachers.

Note: If you would like to purchase spirit wear, the Linfield Spirit Store will also be open from 3:30-6:30 p.m. on the ES Campus!

Supply lists will be distributed by individual teachers during the first week of classes, but don’t forget that you may need to purchase AP textbooks and course consumables.

HS Picture Day: Underclassmen school pictures will be taken on August 26. You will be able to purchase these pictures, but even if you choose not to, you are still required to have a picture taken at this time for the yearbook and for a student ID card.  Students are required to wear uniforms.  All seniors will have pictures taken for their student ID cards only (senior yearbook portraits are scheduled for October).
