When you are considering a school for your child, you focus on what matters to them, and during these formative years, middle schoolers deeply desire a place to belong. Their hearts long for acceptance, friendship, and community. At Linfield, your child will flourish in a supportive environment where they can build meaningful connections and discover their identity in light of God’s Word.
At Linfield Christian School, this is at the heart of what we do! As a private Christian middle school in Temecula, CA, we are a community of students, faculty, and staff who are committed to caring for and encouraging one another as we pursue academic achievement and authentic spiritual formation.
At Linfield Christian Middle School, we provide an engaging atmosphere in which middle schoolers are encouraged to grow academically, socially, and spiritually.
Preparing for High School
Students experience a rigorous academic program combined with fine arts offerings and an extensive interscholastic athletic program. Middle schoolers are challenged and stretched as they discover their gifts, and they begin to refine these talents as they move on to high school.
We promote service and compassion and believe that as God reveals to our students who they are and what they can do, they will use their knowledge and skills to change the world.
Faith-Filled Culture
At Linfield, we cultivate an environment that is built on the foundation of Christ’s love. We practice values such as kindness, respect, and compassion, and we encourage students to seek biblical truth in their decision-making.
Middle School Program
What makes the Linfieldacademic experienceunique? To us, learning involves more than simply reading textbooks or sitting in class. We have intentionally designed a curriculum that engages middle schoolers’ minds, develops their critical thinking skills, and prepares them for what is to come.
Academic Foundation
Linfield Christian Middle School’s curriculum builds upon the core-subject foundation established in the elementary school, with an increased emphasis on logic and critical thinking. Core subjects include Bible, English, Mathematics, Physical Education, Science, and History.
The biblical worldview curriculum at the Middle School covers both Old and New Testament themes, as well as the central message of salvation. Through their study of biblical truth, students explore how they can face the challenges of living in community with others. Weekly chapels include worship, prayer, and guest speakers.
Developing Athletic Skills
Middle School athletes have an opportunity to grow in their athletic skillsand develop traits such as perseverance, discipline, and teamwork.
Fall sports include cheerleading, cross country, tackle football, and volleyball. We also have winter sports, such as baseball, softball, tennis, and basketball. In spring, students participate in soccer, golf, and track. Our dedicated coaches take the time to know each student-athlete, encouraging them to shine and overcome challenges during training.
Creativity in Fine Arts
Students participate in a variety of electives that unleash their God-given creativity, including art, theater, and band.
In art classes, they learn elements such as line, texture, shape, color, value, and composition through painting. In theater, students have a chance to write their own scenes and perform them for their final project; they can also audition for the musical. In band, middle schoolers perform with the Concert Band and have the option of participating in the Jazz Band as well as with the Varsity Pep Band.
Extracurricular Opportunities
At Linfield, learning extends beyond the classroom. Our elective offeringsinclude leadership, speech and debate, creative writing, life skills, theater arts, CEO, and STEAM.
Students also enjoy various enrichment activities such as field trips, assemblies, Band, Choir, Math Olympics, a spelling bee, a geography bee, and sports camps. In addition, Linfield provides exciting opportunities like the 8th-grade trip to Washington D.C., 7th-grade leadership camp, and 6th-grade activities at Astrocamp, all designed to enhance learning through hands-on experiences and community engagement.
Serving the Lord & the World
Each year, middle school students get to serve others by participating in food and drives, toy drives, and more events as they to minister to the local community.
In addition, they also have the chance to volunteer at the Operation Christmas Child warehouse, packing gift boxes and preparing them for distribution worldwide.

Linfield Stories
These stories about personal growth, academic achievement, and spiritual development highlight the lasting impact of our relational community in shaping future leaders and thinkers.
One of the best decisions my parents ever made for me was enrolling me into Linfield Christian School. On my first day, I walked into Linfield and was automatically welcomed and supported by my teachers and peers. That was four years ago, and now I can't imagine my life without Linfield. The teachers and staff care about us;, our peers are kind and supportive, and Linfield offers endless opportunities. - LCMS Student (Class of 2030)
What I love about Linfield is how the teachers are very encouraging and take the time to make sure that you understand the content. Another thing that is great at Linfield is the chapels and worship that take place on campus and that really help progress your relationship with God.
