Elyssa Probart

Elyssa (Daludado) Probart may have graduated from Linfield in 2012, but she has an interesting perspective as the oldest sister of two current high school students! Elyssa attended Westmont College in Santa Barbara and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Studies, and currently teaches 6th grade at Walter Elementary School in Anaheim. She’s also currently taking classes at Concordia Irvine to get her Master’s degree in Education. Elyssa married her high school sweetheart, Tommy Probart, in 2016; they’re both involved at Calvary Chapel Refuge Huntington Beach and enjoy living in Orange County and taking their puppy to the ocean as often as possible.

Elyssa is grateful for the lifelong relationships she developed at Linfield, and she recognizes how unusual that is. She says, “The friendships I built during my time at Linfield have been sustained even through the separation of college and beyond. Through thick and thin, my Linfield friends have supported me; they came to my college graduation and attended my wedding, and most importantly, they have helped me in my walk with the Lord. At Westmont, some of my friends were also surprised to hear how I still kept in contact with my high school teachers, but Linfield is so unique in that aspect. You really form meaningful relationships with the teachers, and they become friends and mentors. Coach Dani, Coach Tawney, and Miss Blades were my mentors and were so formative to the growth of my faith during that time. The retreats, Bible studies, and mission trips (especially to Haiti) were life-changing as well!”
